According to the deployment to push ahead of party history study and education from Party Branch Committee of College of International Collaboration, the Party Branch of the college held a general meeting of party members in the afternoon of September 27th to carry out the featured learning of the Party constitution of the 19th National Congress, which was presided over by Shao Guang.
Shao Guang summarised the Party history study and education of the branch in the previous stage, and stressed that the branch would conduct a special study in October centering on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on July 1st. The branch had made special study materials for everyone and would organise concentrated study.
Subsequently, Ding Shengyun, Zhang Jian and Guo Lei led all the members to learn the 19th National Congress of the Party constitution respectively. Ding Shengyun, with the title of “The Historical Evolution of the Party Constitution and the Rule of law”, guided the meeting to review the process from the emergence of the first National Congress to the continuous revision of the Party Constitution which was unfolded at the 19th National Congress. She stressed that the process of improving the Party constitution also reflected that the party's guiding ideology had kept pace with the Times and Party building would been continuously strengthened.
Zhang Jian directed all the public to raise the awareness of CPC’s Historical Mission in a New Era. He believed the historical mission for CPC in the new era was to fulfill 2 centenary goals and got the Chinese dream of profound rejuvenation materialized. CPC’s 100-year endeavour was just the process to bring Chinese people from dignity to affluence and develop the country. “4 Greatness”, proposed in the report of 19th National Congress had been listed in the Party constitution as well. Since the historical mission of CPC in the new era was made crystal clear, the way to complete this task was also specified.
Guo lei introduced the newly-added “5-Sphere Integrated” general layout and the “4 Comprehensives” strategic layout in the constitution of the 19th CPC National Congress. The five-sphere integrated plan was officially decided at the 18th CPC National Congress, and only when the five aspects - economic, political, cultural, social and ecological - were well developed can the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics be considered comprehensively, he pointed out. “4 Comprehensives” strategic was to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, deeply reform in all respects, advance the rule of law in all aspects, and strengthen Party self-governance in all respects. The revised Constitution of the Party at the 19th National Congress indicated that the Party had attached greater importance to advancing the overall plan for promoting economic, political and cultural progress, advancing the strategic plan to implement the Four Comprehensives in a coordinated manner, promoting the realisation of the two centenary goals, and realising the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.
The Party branch of College of International Collaboration insists on integrating “two studies and one action” into daily life and making if a routine. The branch mainly focuses on the system of theoretical centralised group study and democratic exchanges meeting, takes “three meetings and one lesson” as the basic system, and adheres to “two studies and one practice” as the fundermental content of the education of all party members, which has been observed for a long period and gradually formed a normal job. Every month, the branch is expected to print and distribute learning materials according to the relevant deployment of the party Committee from the university, and organise regular concentrated learning to truly honour the theme with discussion and harvest.
