Houston International Institute Took Multiple Measures to Push Ahead with the Recruitment Publicity

For the sake of further improving the effectiveness of recruitment and continuously increasing the quality of students, the team of the Houston Institute attached great importance to it, held several special meetings to research, and made overall plans for the 2021 recruitment publicity, confirmed online-plus-offline measure, categorised the first, second and third layers of the key areas, and exerted huge efforts.

The college filmed the video of the recruitment publicity, made a series of professional push on WeChat account about Q&A focusing on the questions that the students paid attention to, updated the college website in time, arranged personnel on duty to take care of telephone to answer the questions, widely called up and contacted effective resources, and pass the policies and information about the recruitment on the students through various ways.


Innovative Measures to Highlight the Recruitment Publicity



By sending out series of Wechat account pushes featured by “Youth Pioneers”, excellent fellow students shared their study life in DMU with senior high school students, shortened the distance between the students and their parents, applied VLOGs and short videos to present their college life and feelings of studying, and then made the recruitment enrollment sort out the limit of the publicity materials by paper. The college setup its own QQ and Wechat groups for recruitment publicity, provided one-on-one platforms for students and parents’ consultations. Through integration and innovation, the college created an “Accurate, Zero-distance, All-day-long” online publicity in the cloud.
