Party Lectures Featured by History Learning
According to the work arrangement of university in terms of learning Party’s history, members of the leadership from College of International Collaboration had Party lectures featured by history learning to all the faculty and student representatives of the college.
On July 19th, Zhang Jinlei, dean of College of International Collaboration, and He Jiantong, deputy dean, gave Party lectures to all faculty in the meeting room on the third floor of the college.
Zhang Jinlei, with the theme of “Global Vision, Family and National Ambitions - Mission and Responsibility on the Road to Education”, expounded the new challenges and new requirements brought by the internationalisation of higher education to the work of the college under the background of the comprehensive reform in the new era, and explained the mission and responsibility that educators engaged in the task of running institutes cooperatively between China and foreign countries need to have.
He Jiantong took “profoundly study the history of the Party and practice the original thoughts, brave enough to undertake the mission to open a new epoch”, led the students to study the important speech from General Secretary on July 1st and the spirit of the speech at the National Education Congress. He said that General Secretary’s speech at the National Education Congress should be combined with the actual work of the school, and the construction of the university's international teaching staff and new engineering pilot platform should be comprehensively promoted, so as to contribute to the construction of “double-first class” universities.
On July 22nd, Shao Guang, secretary of CPC committee and deputy dean of the HII, gave Party lectures to all the applicants for Party Membership and some student cadres of the college in the 405 classroom of Zhixing Building.
Under the title of “Study the History of the Party for the Past Hundred Years, Gather the Strength of the Youth”, Shao Guang combined the study and education of the history of the Party with the study and life in college, encouraged students to hold the key points from the study of the history of the Party, exerted their youth strength to the study and practice of thinking, and showed the new achievements of young students in the new journey of the new era. The school would do its best to provide a good learning environment, create a strong academic atmosphere, and constantly improve the teaching and management level of the institute.
After the class, Shao guang had an in-depth exchange with the students, the students all expressed their determination and attitude to continue to strengthen the study of Party history and programme in the future.
